BACKGROUND

Bauli began as a small bakery shop in Verona, Italy, in 1922. The Bauli family takes pride in creating authentic Italian products based on traditional methods of making Panettone and Pandoro. Thanks to Bauli’s know-how, enthusiasm for confectionery quality and technological improvement, the company has acquired a strong leadership in Authentic Italian Holiday products and the Croissant industry. Currently Bauli Group products represent almost 40% of the entire Christmas and Easter market sales in Italy.
Today, Bauli has sales in more than 70 countries on five continents, five production facilities, 31 manufacturing lines, and 27 distribution centers and is a beloved brand for both holidays and year-round pastry lovers. The key to Bauli’s success is having the skill of homemade recipes paired with the best technology. Bauli’s quality today is guaranteed by high standards, the selection of top quality raw materials, and running both countless tests and quality checks on the entire production line and production process.

CHALLENGE

Position Bauli as the Authentic Italian and Quality Brand.
Create a new distinct packaging that will resonate with the American consumers while keeping the brand positioning, history and core values.
Create Immediate Targeted Brand Awareness campaigns in key markets. Integrate call to action & sales focused activities. Digitally introduce the brand across the USA and Canada. Integrate call to action & sales focused activities.

OUTCOME

Creating an awareness campaign used to increase brand awareness and product education. Managing audience acquisition planning, advertising, and engagement strategies, we used creative visual elements coupled with a friendly, approachable tone of voice, asking the audience to ask questions to establish a natural two way dialog with the brand.
We launched specialized and targeted social contests backed by brand ambassadors that we helped acquire for the Bauli brand. Celebrity chef Fabio Viviani is the new brand ambassador of Bauli USA; being Italian American, he is the perfect voice to educate consumers about the specialized products and to establish a brand essence that will resonate with the American consumer.

Fabio Viviani

Fabio Viviani is an Italian chef, reality television personality, and a New York Times best-selling author. His first appearance on television was as a contestant on the reality TV show Top Chef on the Bravo Network. He was voted “Top Chef Fan Favorite” by viewers. Viviani has appeared in a number of television cooking segments and is a recurring guest on television shows such as Good Morning America, The Talk, The Chew, Ellen, Good Day LA, and Access Hollywood. It is our pleasure to collaborate with Fabio Viviani!
